Stretchmarks

Stretch marks or Striae are linear depressions in the skin that are initially pink or purple and later become white or silvery. There is no universally effective treatment for stretch marks. Many treatments are available which improve this condition but do not completely erase it. Topical retinoids such as Retin A, Microdermabrasions, chemical peels, Photofacial treatments, and Pulse Dye Lasers are somewhat helpful. Do not be deceived by creams and potions that "guarantee" to erase your stretch marks permanently.

Note: None of the above is intended as medical advice.
