Here at Forever Young we are always looking for a better, safer, and more effective way to perform liposuction. In 2002 a Brazilian cosmetic surgeon discovered that repeat injection of a substance called Lipostabil or 5% Phosphatidyl solution can effectively dissolve fat. Phosphatidyl is not a new substance and it has been used in medicine for many years. Cardiologists, for example, use it to dissolve cholesterol and fat deposits within the arteries of the heart. Phosphatidyl is not FDA approved in the United States but appears to be very promising in dissolving small deposits of fat in the facial area and body.
Repeat lipolysis injections on a monthly basis for 4 to 5 months are required to achieve the desired results. The injections are uncomfortable and will lead to mild bruising and swelling which lasts a few days. Ask us about the Liposuction of the future to see if you are a candidate.
Small areas usually work better than large areas.
